When I first stepped into Meadowlark Motel, it wasn’t just another client project: it was an opportunity to help a historic mountain property rediscover its digital voice. Tucked into Maggie Valley, the Meadowlark blends rustic charm with live music, local food, and old-school hospitality. But like many small businesses, they needed consistent visibility, stronger online storytelling, and a strategy to turn local traffic into room bookings.

Over the past several months, Social Elixir Media has supported Meadowlark Motel with content creation, audience engagement, event promotion, and growth-driven social media strategy — and the results speak for themselves.

• Guest testimonials, local attraction spotlights, and food/drink features
• Interactive posts such as polls and questions
• Upgraded hashtag strategy based on performance data
• A planned rollout for Reels and behind-the-scenes content

This approach allowed Meadowlark Motel to show up everywhere their audience spends time — not just their Facebook page.

By consistently posting events and tying Meadowlark to Maggie Valley attractions, the motel began showing up in conversations beyond its immediate audience.
